About Me

I have been homeschooling for 10 years. I just graduated my 18 year old daughter from our homeschool, and she graduated with honors. When we first started homeschooling ten years ago, it was the hardest thing I had ever done. I was completely on my own, and oddly enough, the only help I received was from my daughter's third grade teacher, who simply told me where I could go to purchase some homeschool supplies. This same teacher told me that I was doing the right thing, which is very telling of the public school system. This is my first blog, but I'm hoping that it will be a source of helpful informtion and support for anyone considering homeschooling.
